CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar — The police are still in pursuit of one suspect involved in a robbery that took place at the Grand Tours Terminal in Catbalogan on the evening of March 28, 2026.

During the operation, the police engaged with the suspects, resulting in injuries to one suspect from Pangasinan. His accomplice from Mandaluyong City was pronounced Dead on Arrival (DOA) at the hospital, while another suspect from Jiabong, Samar, sustained injuries.

The suspects reportedly stole approximately Php 15,480.00, which was later recovered by the police from one of the suspects.

It was revealed that one of the suspects, known as “Tino” (pseudonym), from Jiabong, Samar, has a previous record of robbery. Police investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the other individuals involved in the incident.
