PALO, Leyte — Devotees crowded the Palo Cathedral on Palm Sunday to mark the start of Holy Week. The faithful arrived early on March 29 to participate in the sacred mass and offer prayers.
Carrying their palm fronds, the devotees earnestly took part in the church’s rituals, a symbol of their faith and remembrance of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
Prayer and devotion were evident in each person as they collectively embarked on the significant journey of Holy Week.
