The Universal Guardians Brotherhood (UGB) and First Cabuyao Hospital and Medical Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Saturday, October 11, to provide free medical assistance and hospitalization to UGB members, their families, and constituents in Laguna and nearby provinces such as Cavite and Batangas.
Under the agreement, UGB members, their families, and constituents in Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas will be able to avail themselves of free medical assistance and hospitalization at the hospital. The agreement is expected to ease the financial burden of medical care for beneficiaries by covering hospital services that would otherwise require out-of-pocket expenses.
The arrangement also extends coverage to family members and constituents, broadening access beyond the organization’s direct membership.
The agreement was signed at 3 p.m. at the function room of First Cabuyao Hospital and Medical Center on Km. 44 National Highway, Rotonda Purok 5, Barangay Sala, Cabuyao, Laguna.
Universal President Melvin “UGMF Isaac” L. Contapay signed for UGB, while Dr. Joel O. Macatula, president and CEO of FCHMC, signed for FCHMC.
The signing was witnessed by Catherine Navales, Lt. Gen. Rolando Joselito Bautista (Ret.), Jonathan Navales, Ronjay Mosquete, Arthur “UPMF Percival” Camins, Nestor “UGMF Josiah” Nirza Jr., and Lebvic “DBFG Sarai” Jañgao Tan.
