Southern Leyte – The Red Cross Southern Leyte Chapter recently celebrated International Volunteers Day, highlighting the amazing men and women whose selfless contributions uplift communities throughout the province. Mayor Luz V. Mercado participated in the festivities to express her sincere gratitude for the volunteers’ unwavering dedication.
“Thank you for your tireless service, your compassionate hearts, and your heroism that truly embodies the spirit of volunteerism,” she said, recognizing that their impact goes beyond individual actions to influence families, neighborhoods, and the entire province.
