Lawaan, Eastern Samar — As part of the 61st founding‑anniversary celebrations of Eastern Samar, the provincial government under Governor Ralph Vincent “RV” Evardone held the Serbisyo Caravan in the municipality of Lawaan last October 28, 2026.
The caravan delivered health, agricultural, and social assistance services to residents of Barangay San Isidro, Barangay Bulosao, Barangay Guinob‑an, Barangay Taguite, and Barangay Maslog. Every family in the covered barangays also received a medical kit from the provincial team.
Organized to mark the province’s 61st year, the activity brings government services closer to rural communities. Under Governor Evardone’s leadership, different provincial and national government agencies went directly to the barangays to ensure fast, accessible aid reaches residents who have limited access to downtown public offices.
Joining the caravan were key provincial and local officials: Vice Governor Maricar Sison‑Goteesan, Board Member Evet Bandoy‑Gaylon, Board Member Nesty Cablao, Eastern Samar Provincial Police Office Colonel Orlando Gardiola Jr., Lawaan Mayor Athene Mendros, and Lawaan Vice Mayor Ravi Parker Inciso.
Provincial officials said the Serbisyo Caravan is part of their anniversary commitment to bring public support to remote villages across Eastern Samar, as the province continues to mark six decades of growth and service to Estehanons.
