TACLOBAN CITY — WBA Asia super featherweight champion Lito “BraveHeart” Badenas is scheduled to fight Japanese boxer Masanori Rikiishi in an eight-round non-title match on April 13, 2026, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
Badenas, hailing from Pinabacdao, Samar, boasts a professional record of 8 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, with 7 wins by knockout. The Filipino boxer aims to build momentum by challenging a more experienced opponent in a foreign country.
Rikiishi, who holds a record of 16 wins and 2 losses, including 11 knockouts, will enjoy the home advantage in front of his Japanese fans. He is expected to present a tough challenge for Badenas in the eight-round bout.
